why it is that other white people in places like the US that come from families that are only a few generations out from immigration that assimilated heavily enough that they don’t have any of their old languages or cultural heritage besides a few drips and drabs don’t see that assimilation as a loss that should be mourned? Rather than something we should impose on everyone else coming in because its what we did?

That shit is how cycles of abuse continue, fellow white folks. I feel like I have this huge fucking hole in the story of me, why the hell would I impose that on someone else?

And if we could fucking stop using our assimilations as weapons against folks who had ancestors brought here by force because of chattel slavery, we might all just avoid the hottest part of hell.

Seriously. Knock that shit off.

“Unconstitutional” does not mean “I disagree with this law.” So when your argument that a new law that requires drug testing welfare recipients (or any law, really) is not unconstitutional hinges on the fact that you agree with the law and not on the law’s consistence with the Constitution, you are wrong. Not because I say so, but because you are not even following the basic logic you claim you are.

Either argue the merits of the law based in its constitutionality, or argue that you dis/agree with it. Those are not the same thing.

Every race riot I can think of that has happened in this country has been started by white people.

Now, I’m not perfect, so there may be one I have forgotten or never knew about but that still makes it a serious minority. So if I hear a single white person expressing anything that even vaguely resembles justification for the violence we are starting to see publicly (because this violence is not new, its just getting more white attention) I am going to be stomping your ass back to grade school.
