Can I use the word “n***a” if I’m quoting a song? Specifically, the extremely common gesture of sharing lyrics on a blog or profile.

I imagine nobody would suggest it’s offensive for a white person to share the recording (perhaps excluding the RIAA), but printing the word felt different enough to make me hesitate when making a post earlier. Just curious.

oh this is why Black people who receive numerous rape threats, hate and the use of the n word over and over again in their inbox can’t receive any recourse from you or your support. because you still don’t understand that no, the word n***a isn’t for white people, ever. the fact that you didn’t even fucking blank it out shows how out of touch you are. no wonder it “felt” different to type. because it’s n****r for you white folks always. that’s all you view us as mostly anyways. so, no you can’t use it, even when singing or quoting a song without fucking bleeping it out. but i guess you think you should because you let people tell tons of Black bloggers to die and call us n****r all the time and your support does nothing.
