“Cis women are hurt/killed for being cis” has to be among the most ridiculous radscum talking points. I can barely imagine the mental acrobatics necessary to even begin to justify that statement. The fact that hurt/killed cis women are cis might be ENABLING of violence IN SOME CASES, but to make the leap to cisgender status as the CAUSE of the violence is absurd. MEN HARM AND MURDER CIS WOMEN BECAUSE THEY ARE WOMEN, not because they are women who happened to also be designated female at birth. THIS HAPPENS TO TRANS WOMEN TOO, BUT SOMETIMES TRANSGENDER STATUS IS THE ACTUAL CAUSE OF THE VIOLENCE.
