I suppose you’re taking breaking down very basic definitions that people here constantly confuse to be transphobic? I’m not saying people have to prove themselves by knowing their karyotype. Jesus, where do these leaps in logic come from? I’m saying our understanding of sex and how we categorize them is rooted in physical tangible reality, though there is obviously a lot of diversity within each category. This is unlike western gender and gender roles which are a construction and a tool of patriarchy. Categories of sex are also socially constructed, and biology allows for an array of variation. The sex categories you are dependent on to dismiss the concerns of trans* people are as much a social construct as gender roles.

You post is controversial because you are using a busted and incomplete understanding of biology to contribute to marginalization and harassment. Get a compassion implant.

If you want to claim that we are the ones mixing things up, be prepared to back your shit up. Its not a leap in logic to take your base claims to a conclusion, its called “critical thinking.” If trans* people are “biologically” one thing always and forever, and so are you, then what is your karyotype status?
